Crocus: Venezuelan rejects diplomatic relations with Washington, and declared the United States responsible for trying to overthrow the government. Political tension reaches rise due to opposition protests against the government in Venezuela, while clashes between forces and opposition workers, many people were killed.
Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro issued orders to leave the US ambassador within 72 hours to disconnect diplomatic relations with the US. President Nicolás Maduro addressed the nation on TV from presidential palace after the opposition leader Juan Guaidó self declared as president in front of the public. President Maduro accused that the opposition has got support from the US for anti-government protests. The Venezuelan president said in an emotional speech that the people of this land are ready to defend.
President Nicolás Maduro took over the government after the boycott from opposition last year and succeeded in election for 2nd term on 10th January 2018. Since then, opposition is being protested across the country.
