Norman arrived early at church to help set up. There was little to do, and he sat in a pew, looking at the crucifix.
He supposed he should pray but didn’t know what to pray for.
He didn’t want back his wives; not even Ex One, for she had succeeded and was comfortable.
The last he saw her, she had aged well, he wanted to provoke her so he could …. but he couldn’t provoke her. To her, he was someone she used to know.
He didn’t know where she lived, what she did, anything about her life.
That was strange.
How was it he could be writing emails to his first ex and never did she post about herself?
