Most ‘revolutions’ of social awareness are countered by a ‘Dark Ages’ in which the majority of people are swallowed by the stupidity promulgated by those who have vested interests.
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil was created as a fuel during World War II. It failed. Having spent so much money developing it, the next choice was using it for cattle feed. As the cattle showed with no serious effects, it was then put on the shelves for people to consume.
Claiming it was ‘healthy’ had millions of people tossing aside their olive oil, coconut oil, and using a product which was anything but healthy.
Those who didn’t buy it would nevertheless wind up consuming it as it was put in everything.
This kind of trickery continues.
