There is an ignored ’emotion’, if I can designate it as such, called ‘contempt’. It is the complete lack of concern about a person, an opinion, an event.
In every day life those who comprehend the use of this emotion or attitude, live with far less stress than those who experience ‘reaction.’
The pleasure of contempt is in having no reaction to the behaviour, words, performance of another. When one couldn’t care less, really couldn’t care less, than nothing that is done or said has any effect.
One can not be provoked, insulted or annoyed when the perpetrator holds less status than the contents of a rubbish
When you don’t care what someone thinks… it can’t effect you
Would be true of some.
