The Cox Guy came this morning to check out my VCR/DVD box hook-up. He ended up doing it differently from how it was usually hooked up because of the changes in the cable box and tv connections. He ended up using both my old cables, as well as the new cables I recently bought. (the old gray cables are in this snapshot). Instead of this usual way that I have always hooked it up in the past, he used the new cables in the Component Video Out as well as the old gray cables for only the Audio Out section. The DVD worked perfectly, and I decided to watch one of my dvds today. But he said the VCR still doesn’t work very well. I noticed that he didn’t plug in the black cord in the Out to TV either. Those two on the right were left empty.
I am thinking to myself if plugging in Out to TV as well as the gray cord video will work the VCR. Who know? Anyway, for now, I want to check out some dvds I have that I haven’t watched in a long time….
Hence, this morning, I watched one video as well as its added behind the scenes features with commentary about how the filmed the movie as well as why they ended up deleting certain scenes before the movie came out in the theater.
Glad you got better help, I had to set everything like that myself.
but the video player still doesn’t work, maybe because videos are getting old, and Cox always brings a new cable box.
Sorry to hear that. That is often what happens…
Most of NZ help has often been completely useless and I always end up by doing it myself and helping neighbours.
