Do not destroy your life to ‘fix’ the other. You don’t run into the night with the clothes on your back, you don’t go peacefully.
You need time to rearrange your life, and that is your first goal. Not forgive, not anything else, but get your life back.
You need to enter the next day at no lower status that you entered the day before.
That is your goal.
Unless you have a perfectly good place to go, as good as where you are now, you stay. You stay and you plan, and you get your life on track.
When you are strong; you have a job, you have a life, then you can think about leaving.
