Picking a Victim – 4

In selecting a Victim the term is ‘singular’.   The potential victime must have no one.  No family, nor friends who can intercede.   The person must be made to depend on the Abuser.

This is not as easy as walking into a homeless shelter and making a selection.

Many people may seem to be ‘helpless’ or ‘alone’ or ‘weak’ but that is temporary.  Selecting someone whose singularity is temporary is going to limit the Abuse.

For example,  the Boss From Hell might find someone who is down on their luck.  He may give them a job, (of course underpay) and think that he has made them fully dependent.

But that person might have options; maybe not now, maybe not next year, but when they do, they are gone.  Just gone, leaving the BFH without a victim.
