Wendy filled her days taking online courses. She paid her fees by ‘stealing’ bits of her ‘housekeeping money’ then got a moderating job online as well as posting articles to paying sites. Paypal was her ‘bank’.
Oliver was totally unaware of any of this and did not know Wendy was computer literate or even had a laptop.
Wendy could cook, take care of the baby and be online at the same time. She always got off the computer just before four p.m. in case Oliver came home early.
When he got home he would either find her cooking or taking care of the baby. His sons would always be silent in their room, doing their homework, or seeming to.
Hence Oliver had no idea of reality.
