NEVER GIVE AN ABUSER A SECOND CHANCE – 54

Don asked Lynn for her help as a ‘MacGuffin’,  a diversion, from his true purpose.  His purpose was to give her an  impossible task and have her fail so he could feel better about himself.

Lynn, who had left him over thirty years ago, is being ‘recycled’.  Obviously, there is  no one currently in his life he can abuse.

Don claims he wants to reopen the case which caused his dismissal,

Fifteen Years Ago.

He gives Lynn no information beyond that.  Not why he was fired, not the transcript of the hearing.

He expects her to ask for it, so he can say, “What kind of lawyer are you which needs me to spell it out for you?”  or something equally coarse.

To prove his prowess, Don, who is not a lawyer, learns that the laws governing his situation are contained in an official book.  The book is in a governmental library, two hundred miles away.

He drives there.
