Misconceptions are dangerous. It is twisting a sign post so one proceeds in the wrong direction.
Sometimes a person creates their own misconceptions. For example one thinks Linda is peaceful and passive.
In truth, the reason Linda doesn’t say anything when Carol and Tera get into an argument is that she has nothing but contempt for them.
Con men and women are adept at creating misconceptions. One thinks they are too stupid to realise what they are giving away, not aware, what they are selling is worthless.
Politicians are great at creating misconceptions. They will claim their opponent is guilty of the exact crime they are committing. By this distraction, voters will believe the lie, turning their eyes from him to the other.
