There is a movement to another city, introduction of a new process, some kind of change. But this person is NOT CHANGING.
She is not going to follow her beloved to another city, as she was born here, her job is here.
So he goes off and a few months later she decides that she wants him. Of course, by then he’s found someone else, taking her refusal to go with him as a permanent No.
This worker doesn’t like the new system, refuses to adopt, so is unemployed.
The business is not changing their policies; whether opening/closing hours, inventory, or presentation. So it goes out of business.
Being resistant to change will mess up every possible relationship.
