I looked at my email account. It was sprinkled with messages from women who had fallen in love with a character my name sake played on some serial that went off the air years ago.
My name sake was, in RL, an obnoxious pompous fool who had the kind of attitude that doesn’t win many friends.
As many of these women were needy, (judging from their posts) I decided to fill the need. I decided to answer them and act nice. Make them feel that the object of their affection was worth it.
Then I thought…no.
If any of these women somehow were able to contact the actor, he’d treat them like dirt, totally reject my posts, which would make them feel even more foolish.
