It was three months later when Herbert called his lawyer. All the lawyer knew was that Jeff was alive and cashing his cheques.
Herbert told him, “Don’t admit I called you.”
The Lawyer replied; “I don’t talk to him after his last performance.”
Happily, Judy and Herbert left Hawaii, travelled to the Mainland, and spent time with Judy’s son, Steve. Herbert was really feeling like a father to him.
After a month, Herbert and Judy returned to Hawaii where he bought a house in her name.
Herbert felt decades younger. He was happy, he was stress less.
