Cutting the Cords – Amanda – 7

Amanda went to her classes, had her dinners, attended a few social events.  Focused on herself she never imagined how her absence would effect Mac.

She never thought he might have met someone else, that he might find he preferred someone else.

Amanda had always thought of herself first.   When someone was part of her ‘narrative’ they were included in her focus.   If they were not, then they didn’t exist.

Having gone away for her health, Mac, no longer in her ‘narrative’ she didn’t think of him.

She didn’t worry how he was surviving, and never considered the possibility that he might have met someone.
