Can't Do Better – 14

People who can’t do better are often failures, whether in real terms or their own minds.

There are those who never married, never had children, not by choice.

Sure, the dynamic powerhouse with lots of activities and a complicated job might not have gotten around to marriage or children, and are too busy anyway.   Happy with their lives, they made their choice. It  is not a problem, maybe not even a real regret.

But there are those who are unmarried and childless because of their offensive personalities.   They may never have let anyone close, may have spoiled a relationship with their horrid personas.  

When they reach their late 30s or early 40s they may make up for a spouse by meaningless sex, and use a pile of cats as their ‘children’.

These are people who you avoid.
