Barry wrote in his journal;
“Typical High School; cool kids, mean girls, fat boys and punks, bullies and uglies, nerds and geeks and dunces, kings and queens.”
He thought of further observations, but decided to postpone.
Barry closed his journal, took off his clothes, pulled on pants he had no intention of wearing, save to clean the yard and a shirt that was too small, and went into the kitchen for a snack.
After, he began to read his texts, do his homework. He was done before his parents came home.
