Today is Purim in Jerusalem. Purim is a holiday in which Jews celebrate the deliverance from Haman, (not his real name I think) plot to destroy all the Jews in ancient Persia.
We celebrate by dressing up, listening to the book of Esther, giving gifts to the poor, and a food gift to our friends. And a Big Feast where you can get drunk!
So Happy Purim everyone!
