God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

While the original author is not listed on this 16th century Christmas carol, the first printed edition arrived in 1760. The original lyrics are penned, “God rest you, merry gentlemen…” not “ye”, but a variety of versions have been seen over the centuries. Happy holidays!
