More Trouble Shooting Tips – 31

A very simple way to lose business is to ignore customers.  One might as well chase them out of the premises.

For example, a particular customer asked for a product.  The manager said they would order it.

The customer waited a week,  then went elsewhere.

Now if that manager had told the customer something like;

“I’ll order it, but I don’t expect it would be here for a month…”

then the customer would buy it elsewhere, but do most purchases, here.

Because the manager wasn’t honest, the opinion of  the customer was not that deliveries are slow or the product was not easily assessed, the opinion was that the manager didn’t listen to a word only said what he felt would pacify or fool..

Feeling played, the customer goes elsewhere and stays elsewhere.
