Named after the kiwi, taste is a combination of banana, melon, cucumber and lime. Ideal for diet, exceptionally effective against colds. Today, it is cultivated mostly in Chile and California. This delicious fruit is available throughout the year and is eaten raw. It is rich in minerals and vitamin C, potassium and iron, and contains phosphorus, magnesium, copper, zinc, sodium and calcium. It is ideal for diet, as it has a little carbohydrate, and there is no fat in it at all.

Seeds are rich in fatty acids, among which the most important are linoleic and oleic. Linoleic acid is particularly important as one of omega-6 fatty acids. It helps body fight high blood pressure. Yellowish-green seeds contain carotenoid (beta carotene, provitamin A), which is important for the immune system, skin and eyes health.

Kiwano juice revitalizes the body, and you can easily make yourself this delicious juice. Cut in the half for kiwanos and extract the meaty part with a spoon, then put it in blender. Then strain it and separate from seeds. Since it is very thick, add whole lemon and 3 to 4 dl of water. Instead of lemon, you can add black grape juice, and this is a real vitamin bomb for the body.
