We have all seen VWs through the years and some of my favorites were the microbuses. Here at the Olcott Beach car show in Western New York there was this odd VW Bus that was configured as a truck with an open truck bed. It appeared original and was from 1967.

It looks like the olden VW Kombi but without the pickup bin at the rear.
