Last year, during the middle of winter, I attempted to create some flowers of my own using dry leaves, sunflower seeds, pine cones, etc. In some cases, I even added in some ribbons leftover from Christmas wrapping. I also tried scanning in the leaves using a flatbed scanner. While the results were mixed, it was a fun experiment, and it helped pass the time until Spring arrived. Utilizing some digital trickery, I was able to come up with some interesting images. Below, you can check out a few samples of my efforts. What do you think? Which images are your favorites?
