This image was influenced by looking at paintings of Chinese civil servants from the Han Dynasty which was contemporary to the Roman Empire in the west. In other setting, they seem more like academic professors. Teachers in way. Teachers are a vital and important profession in society. They are critical if society is to be kept stable and civilization is maintained in a way with all the necessary changes that come its way. This is acrylic on canvas.
