Rue de l’Abreuvoir Paris is an acrylic painting done on a 24×24 inch stretched canvas. It is finished with a satin varnish.
If you have traveled to Paris you may recognize this quaint street. I personally have not but now I want to! This was a commission piece for a couple who passed through here on their travels and loved it so much they asked me to paint it for them. They sent me a couple photos and I found a few photos online to use as references.
If you would like a place that you have traveled to and fallen in love with painted, just get in contact with me or head over to my website Brian Sloan Artist for more details on commission work!
Thanks Tasartcraft! It is definitely a different style!
Well I appreciate it even if it doesn’t work! It’s the thought that counts!
Painting is really your passion. Great work.
Thank you Cassy. I never thought I would have enjoyed painting this much, but the excitement of seeing the finished product from just a white canvas is amazing!
