Castle in New Britain

This very large brick classic house in New Britain Connecticut was right on a corner. It overlooked the New Britain Museum of Art and Walnut Hill Park by Frederick Law Olmstead. With its central tower it appeared castle like to me.

  2. A very stately looking mansion castle like house. Very beautiful and seemingly full of rooms with all those windows. I especially love the center tower, or “tourelle” in French. I can just see myself living in such a house, me and probably two or three dogs which would have ample room to roam and stretch their legs. As for me it certainly would keep me in shape doing all the cleaning in and around it. Good picture.
