About halfway around the Cades Cove Loop road in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee you come across the Visitor’s Center. This is about 1-2 hours in by bicycle depending on how much you stop and look at houses and churches. This building at the Visitor Center is done in a traditional style to not stand out from the original buildings around it. It is made of square hewn logs and has a stone base. I love the porch and split rail zigzag fence.
