While at the last Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) gathering at Trent University in Peterborough, Canada, I walked around the campus to take in the modern architecture. On the other side of the pedestrian bridge that crossed the Trent River was a tall tower and building support. Out of this a cross beam appeared and the exposed rebar metal was fashioned into a Loon’s head.
