Great spotted woodpecker, perched on a branch.
Its Saturday!
Nice sunny day in the middle of January…
We sat on the terrace when this beautiful man flew over us.
He landed on the tall branch of the nearby walnut and began to look around.
These birds are not famous for their singing, but they are heard quite clearly.
Apparently he was in no hurry and waited for me to take the camera.
I took some pictures before hiding in the crown of the tree and start rhythmically tapping on it.
