Barns of Pennsylvania in Gettysburg

Out in the countryside on the battlefields of Gettysburg Pennsylvania in the National Military Park, there were many classic barns. Pennsylvania barns are near the top of the list in elegant barns. They have fieldstone bases, overhanging main stories and thin air slits in the sides. Many have stone all the way up on both sides with slate roofs.
