not going to use this particular background, but the look & feel along with the color scheme are just right for this piece…

I’ve got a few different versions of her, too…
entirely unintentional, they were meant to look neutral

her outfit is so stark, I need a rich background to balance out the piece…
This is quite cool, a little hazy on the face but nice.
I was going for an otherworldly vibe, perhaps it wasn’t the right way to go…
The temple is grand looking but sitting on top of a rock?
a floating rock, no less. but that composition doesn’t work here…
The house behind the character looks odd on top of a rock.
