Prologue
There is a difference between being alone and being lonely. One can be alone in a crowd. One might not be lonely although not having seen another person for five days.
It is a matter of perception, of activity, of being comfortable in your own body.
Many people are not comfortable in their own bodies.
You can see this every day.
The woman cleaning her house, talking on her phone with the television on.
The person choosing to sit in a crowded section when there are solo tables available.
The man singing loud and attention getting as he walks along the road.
These are simple examples of people who hate their own company.
This is where one has to stop and analyse.
Yes, alone doesn’t means lonely.
And being alone doesn’t need sympathy 🙂
For many people it is a choice. Many people want to live alone.
yes, there is a difference in alone and lonely. There are people alone but happy.
yes, there are many people who like their own company
before I got married, I am used to being alone, I stayed at home rather than roaming around when I don’t have work. I don’t love the crowd, I have only few trusted and true friends.
I don’t mind my own company either. I don’t need to be in a crowd.
