To answer a question from a previous writing Should we consider Michigan State a threat in the Big Ten?. Yes! We should consider the Michigan State Spartans a big threat in the Big Ten, why?
The Michigan State Spartans currently sit 3rd place in the Big Ten – East, with a huge opportunity to change that during week 11 against the Ohio State Buckeyes, who looked very lackluster in their previous game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The Michigan State Spartans only Big Ten – East loss was to the Michigan Wolverines, who were clearly the more stacked talent wise between the two.
Other than that loss against the Michigan Wolverines, the Michigan State Spartans have victories over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Maryland Terrapins and the Indiana Hoosiers with only two more teams left to play against in the Big Ten – East, which are the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

Not to mention that the Spartans also hold a victory over the Purdue Boilermakers, who are ranked 2nd in the Big Ten – West, and obliterated the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Despite their only two conference losses being home losses against the Michigan Wolverines, and the Northwestern Wildcats. I would say that the Michigan State Spartans are a big threat to spoiling the Ohio State Buckeyes hopes of entering the college football playoff, as well as a trip to the Big Ten Championship game.

The Buckeyes have found themselves. I really want Northwestern to win, but Ohio State is going to blow them out.
I could definitely see that. I would also love to see this version of Ohio state in the college playoff, but well see. I guess that depends on if Oklahoma loses.
Ohio State vs Michigan will be very interesting because both teams looked flat and were looking ahead to this Saturday.
I definitely agree with that. It would have been interesting to see both of them get upset this past weekend then go into ‘The Game’ highly motivated to rebound from their upsets. I’m happy that this game is early because I don’t have to wait all day just like I did for the UCF game, which I ended up not delivering because Cincinnati did not show up at all.
They looked crazy against Maryland today. We’ll wait and see what happens next week against Michigan.
I hope they bring it next weekend against the Wolverines because I would like to see a good game.
I would hate to see them get boo’d again, but then again this version of the Buckeyes need that kick in the ass.
Michigan State lost to Northwestern badly. They do not have enough to capitalize on the Buckeyes in the passing game because Ohio State will keep eight men in the box the entire game.
But that was back then and this is now. The only team in the East that they have lost to was the Wolverines. As for the Buckeyes they haven’t looked like the same team they were at the beginning of the season. It is almost like they have lost their soul. I remind you that they struggled with Minnesota, as well as Nebraska. It all depends on what Buckeyes team shows up, and what Spartans team shows up, but my bet is on the Spartans because I do not think the Buckeyes are bringing anything. They looked very lackluster in Columbus of all places.
