The lay of the Road Life starts as simple and ends up with Gold

The lay of the Road

Life starts as simple

and ends up with gold

and the end of a Load

My father was gentle

with my mother

for forty years and More

He said put her on a Pedastal

to open life’s Door

the yellow road winds higher

as secrets Unfold

  1. Thank you for a wonderful comment. My mother was ten years older than My dad. He worshiped her, lived past 90 but for her but many child births was Sad. I felt safe and secure as a child and a Lad.
