The project was being discussed, attacked, ridiculed, demonised. How could anyone think they could create ‘life’ in a laboratory?
Dr. Goober, with great annoyance replied that they were creating far more than life, they were creating a Universe. They were creating life, planets, suns, gravity, everything.
This did not make him popular. In fact, what it created was more revulsion.
Scientists who had been left off the project became media darlings, attacking, ridiculing and dismissing this project as ‘cold fusion in a gym sock’.
That is when images that were taken by the Space Bee were published. They were studied by many both scientist and lay person.
Detractors sneered that they could be anything, but the images did look like the night sky to many people.
