I never cease to be amazed at all the things I simply know nothing about.
I found a breed of pig I had never seen and I am quite excited. It is called a Mangalitsa. It is basically a pig with wool. If you don’t take a real close look you would swear you were were looking at an odd looking sheep.
I can not find anything that says they have been shearing the pigs, but I don’t understand why you wouldn’t. It would seem like would be another income stream. Apparently the meat is of exceptional quality.

They may be a hybrid of regular pigs and sheep.
