REVULSION
I make the warm day
shut itself or stray
over the cliffs and through
the wind-weary air
to the birdless rocks beneath:
And what if I
bequeath you this,
and this and furthermore
this incensed indifference
to the classical myth
of love and a bundle of yarn
and the wherewithal to break
your neck in an evening of wild alarm
with only the indifferent birds
to hear your tired throat rattle
at the back of an ending day?
I have seen men kinder
to their enemies’ dogs – but writing this is one man
measuring your every weakness
for the lethal punch,
and the final hard harangue.

thanks for sharing nice poem
Kathy is becoming a very famous lady in Virily (and surely beyond it!)
Albert, are you nearby?
Well, I’d better make sure I keep singing her praises so Albert draws nearer!? and many thanks for your witty comment.
I did not mean to offend you, thank you for sharing these poems, the images selected are also wonderful choices.
I wish you all the best,
Regards from Greece
