Building a house is more expensive

We have to understand that prices of almost all commodities have increased because of the lockdown that we suffered. It is not the right time to build a house because of the bloated prices of the steel, cement, wood and other hardware needs.

Our neighbor is currently building their new house on another lot which is near their home. I can see their difficulty with the budget. There are days that work is stopped because of the lack of funds. I guess the project should be stopped for now.
