Our village has a requirement for entering whether residents or not. For residents the sticker that proves you are a resident is required. Those with no sticker have to leave their driver’s license to the guard. It is for safety purposes so that when a criminal enters then he couldn’t just commit a crime with ease.
However, I have a question with the people who are walking to enter the gate. There is no need to show anything, not even a simple ID. In short, people just enter through the gate with no hassle. Now the security of the gate is in question.

I do not live in a village. I live in a city and we do not need stickers to get inside.
