Breeding season of moths and other flying insects

When the rainy season starts the insects seem to be on a holiday in our garden. It is also the breeding season of flying insects that young leaves of the plants and small trees are being eaten by the larva. In the picture is a moth that lays eggs on the young leaves that when hatched the leaves would be eaten by the larva.

One way to control is the spraying of the leaves with insect repellent. I use tobacco water which has a bad odor that drives away the insects. It is good for prevention.
