Ancient Chinese jars

One archeologist friend said that they are in search of the ancient Chinese jars that were buried near a mountain area. The jars are big so it is easy to spot. It is not really a treasure hunt because the project is for the museum.

I wonder if a team of archeologist would unearth a good number of treasures. Do they get something from it? We all know that such buried relics are actually treasures with a great value. That would be a nice job if they get a percentage.
