Constipated dog

Our dog was constipated last week that we were alarmed that it couldn’t move the bowels for 3 days. The vet came for a remedy by employing the enema. But there should be a solution and not just a remedy.

After the enema there was the feces that doesn’t look normal. On the next day the dog seemed to be constipated again. I bought papaya and gave it via the syringe (no needle) 3 times a day. That did it. Now our dog is not constipated anymore.
