A friend who is a Feng Shui master said that the opening of the home which is the gate in our case should be cleared with no obstacles. The good luck is being impeded from entering. Feng Shui is the Chinese art of numerology and positioning of the home. It’s hard to explain but it is something of a mumbo jumbo.
Anyway, the clear entrance to the house is good and proper. It is not nice to see the gate that is crowded by plants or trees much more by vines. It would look like a haunted house.

I see. I live in an apartment and someone finally took away stuff on the path that leads up to the sidewalk on top. It was very bad.
