I didn’t know why Sherry wanted to see me after work. Never, ever did I imagine it was to tell me she was pregnant.
How did I feel?
I was insane! I had never been happier, at least for a minute, then nervously asked if she would keep it.
She said yes, and again I was joyful.
I said I wanted to be part of our baby’s life, I would do anything.
I told her I loved her.
She looked at me a bit reluctantly, and I knew I had said the wrong thing. Or so I thought until she asked; “Do you want to make it official?”
I didn’t know what she meant at first, and mouthed the word, “Marry…” and she nodded.
Sherry nodded!!!!
