We had this cashew tree that lived for over 20 years but some termites at its roots killed it without giving us any notice
It was shocking to see it die in a matter of days but more shocking were the birds that enjoyed frolicking on that tree eating away the fruits and spending time up there

Maybe cashews are not expensive in stores for you. Here you can buy 200 grams for almost 3 euros. I love cashew nuts.
I have never used these nuts as preparing them is cumbersome. They come with shells. I always buy them and yes they are expensive but I do not mind that
That’s not cool at all. Do you know how much money you saved by not buying cashews for 20 years? Cashews cost more than they should.
The joy of having that tree around was more joyful than the money it gave us. We sold the nuts, prepared wine from the cashew apple and even made juice. I have created a movie on what I felt watching it die.
