There are so many reports about COVID-19 health workers being shunned by their own family and the public. Not just health workers there are several in India who are cooking food for migrant workers who are left high and dry due to lockdown
But there are good samaritans who have provided accommodation to these workers with all amenities. They include hotel, showroom, office and shop owners. Even small hospices have become residences for these dedicated workers.
It is in moments like this the best comes out – something that needs to be acknowledged and appreciated.

That is good that they are provided with shelter and food. Their jobs are the hardest to do.
There is fear among people that they are carrying the virus.
Both in my country and here in Spain, there are medics who have stayed in hospitals for 30 days or more without going home. There are companies that supply them free meals.
They have that stigma. Recently two nurses were reprimanded as they were seen in a market buying fruits.
