A Childlike Faith

This is a song that I wrote several years ago. I had it reviewed once, and the reviewer implied that I was promoting a “simple minded” or “novice” level of faith. Rather, my point in writing the song was to encourage a less “jaded” or “world weary” faith. Here’s an excerpt of the lyrics:

“Oh, give me a childlike faith inside. So, when You ask a favor, I honestly try, and when I say I need You my heart’s open wide. Oh, give me a childlike faith inside.”

Give it a listen!
