One of the many comic movies Sacha Baron Cohen has starred is “The Dictator”. And one of the funniest moments in the history of the Oscars did not happen inside the Theatre but on the red carpet.
This took place when Sacha Baron Cohen was in the red carpet promoting his movie “The Dictator” and he decided to take the ashes of at that moment recently dead Kim Jong -Il, dictator of North Korea and the father of the current dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un.
Kim Jong- Il was a big fan of movies and his dream was to be on the red carpet. Sacha Baron Cohen decided to pay homage to this dictator… Take a look at one of the funniest moments ever lived in the history of the Oscars.
Nothing surprises me anymore. everyone is free to do as they please.
Thanks a lot for your comment.
i remember this, it was an interesting situation.
Sasha Baron Cohen has demonstrated a willingness to take risks for his comedy. He reminds me of the previous generations Andy Kaufman.
I really like the movies of Sacha Baron Cohen. My favourite one is Borat. Last year, Sacha Baron Cohen and his team made a really funny television series called Who is America???? You will laugh a lot if you can see it. It is hilarious. I do not know Andy Kaufman.
The jim carrey movie “The man in the moon” is about Andy Kaufman. He was an amazing comic that did many of the things that Cohen does now, but he was doing them 30 years ago!
Ok. I did not know that. If you can watch Borat the movie you may love it as it is about a guy who travels and discovers America and Who is America is really funny with moments that will make you laugh.
i have seen and enjoyed the movie you are right it is good!
A very “weird” situation. Some have really unusual ideas.
The thing is that these journalists in the red carpet always ask: What are you wearing??? This is why the Dictator acts like that
