From the lot of begonias I had in my garden just one variety has survived. This is one of the most common and easy to propagate.
Propagation can even be done by planting bits of leaves. This begonia has some pretty flowers and the leaves have a nice shine. One needs to keep a vigil and re-pot begonias for them to survive. They need sandy soil as retaining of water in their roots will kill them.
This year I have decided to go for more varieties which I will only get at some nursery as even my friends gardens have none of these. We normally exchange plants.
Enjoy looking at some of the exotic begonia in this link

I have to plant begonias every year because they don’t spend the winter.
I knowo what happens to plants in the winter. Hard work for you guys.
I have more little flowers in my garden
Good to hear you have little flowers in your garden
Begonias are so beautiful and diverse! We have some in flowerpots and they often bloom even in winter.
We had many varieties but if we do not re pot I think they die
We don’t have any plants at home.
Why is that? Don’t you have any space?
I had begonia, but it’s very warm for her here and she died. I like this flower.
It needs a moderat climate
