Nativity scene

For the believers of Christmas in our country, the nativity scene that we call “Belen” is displayed as a Christmas decoration and at the same time a reminder of how Christ was born in a manger. The nativity scene is a symbol of humility that being born in a lowly manger does not mean you are lowly.

The Christmas season is not complete without the nativity scene at home. Unfortunately, the Christmas tree is the most popular in Christmas decorations followed by Santa Claus. Only a few are now having a display of the nativity scene at home during the Christmas season. Maybe times are really changing the tradition.
