With passage of time, every city has modern markets and bazaars with modern-day residential colonies, but the true culture of each city is reflected in its old markets. Peshawar Saddar Bazar and Hayatabad are mostly comprised of modern-day markets, we can call these areas as multicultural area. But as soon as you reach the Qissa Khwani Bazaar, you can see the true culture of Peshawar everywhere. Walking through the old bazaars of Peshawar, it looks like that you are roaming in the streets of Kabul. The old culture of Peshawar and Quetta is almost the same as Afghanistan. Whenever I get some time I prefer to go to old markets because they are full of life.
